Description
Ukrainian Club TAMU is proud to present to the Aggieland community an internationally acclaimed Ukrainian performer Kozak Siromaha and young celebrity from Austin Olexandra Pelitu. The performance is on November 7, at 7 pm in PLPM building on west campus of TAMU (496 Olsen Boulevard, TAMU).
Let’s show hospitality and a warm welcome to our unique guests and greet Kozak Siromaha at his first ever appearance in Aggieland!
Kozak Siromaha is a modern Ukrainian bard and cultural ambassador who brings the warrior spirit of the Cossacks to the stage. His music blends ancient rhythms with modern messages, offering a uniquely raw and moving experience that speaks to Ukrainians and international audiences alike.
Kozak Siromaha first captivated Texas audiences as a special guest at SXSW 2023 in Austin, TX, performing alongside Kalush Orchestra. Since then, he has returned every year, building a loyal fan base throughout the state.
Selected merchandise charitable sale at this event will benefit humanitarian projects in Ukraine. This isn’t just music - it’s a mission. Kozak Siromaha carries Ukraine’s story into every space he enters, and his concerts leave people both inspired and united.
Oleksandra Pelitu was born in Ukraine. Over 10 years she managed music art classes for kids, performed with jazz bands in Ukraine and in South Korea. Then the full-scale invasion started in Ukraine and Oleksandra moved to the USA. Now Pelitu sings for Ukraine, as a gratitude to others for help and support and to share Ukrainian culture with the world. The main message, she says: “ I sing from my heart. My heart is with Ukraine!”
Do not miss these Ukrainian Musicians who fuse traditional folk music with modern beats, creating a unique and electrifying song experience.
Ukrainian Club TAMU invites you to be a part of that unique event and see authentic Ukrainian singers on campus of Texas A&M University. Help us to spread the word and come to enjoy this vibrant performance.
