Description
The Ukrainian club at TAMU Would like to invite you on a musical journey to Ukraine. Our guests and tour guide this evening will be ALEX SYEDIN and OLEKSANDRA PELITY (Austin, Texas).
Alex Syedin is a young talented composer and musician from Ukraine. He will be sharing his new work and compositions from his first piano album "Out of Homeland" released in May 2024. Each piece has a short story that Alex would share with us.
Alex dedicated this first album and this performance to all the people who were forced to leave Ukraine because of the war. A sample of the Alex’s music could be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5i3d56TxVU
Oleksandra Pelitu is using her magical and powerful voice to sing for Ukraine. She sings to be thankful to others, for getting help and support and to share our culture with the world. She says: “I sing from my heart to my Homeland from Afar. My heart is with Ukraine”.
With the generous support of Good Bull Foundation TAMU, the Ukrainian Club is happy to introduce young Ukrainian talents to TAMU and the BCS community.
We would have Ukrainian Art on display and authentic handmade crafts for sale.
The event is FREE and we love to see you, your friends, and your neighbors! Please share with your classmates and officemates as well.
