Join us for the first general meeting of the Society of Pre-Anesthesiology Assistants (SPAA). This meeting will serve as an introduction to our organization and leadership team, where officers will introduce themselves and discuss SPAA’s mission and goals. We will provide an overview of what a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) is, the pathway to becoming a CAA, and what members can expect from SPAA throughout the semester. Upcoming events, opportunities, and plans for the organization will also be shared. The meeting will conclude with an open Q&A session to answer any questions. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Society of Pre-Anesthesiology Assistants
• Promote awareness and knowledge about the Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) career path among students.
• Provide opportunities for volunteer work, shadowing experiences, and professional development for members interested in anesthesiology and related health fields.
• Foster community and mentorship by connecting pre-professional students with peers, advisors, and professionals in the field.
• Give back to the community through service events and outreach initiatives that align with healthcare and patient advocacy
