The Community Council President serves as the primary leader and representative of the Community Council. This role is responsible for setting the tone, direction, and goals for the council throughout the academic year, ensuring that the council operates effectively and in alignment with its constitution and bylaws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a clear vision and set achievable goals for the council each year.
- Prepare and distribute agendas for all Community Council meetings.
- Ensure compliance with the Community Council Constitution and Bylaws, and fulfill any additional duties as outlined.
- Attend and actively participate in all Community Council meetings and events.
- Oversee and support all other Community Council officers in their respective roles.
- Hold officer meetings at least once every two weeks to maintain communication and collaboration.
- Meet regularly with council advisors for guidance, feedback, and support.
- Attend all RHA General Assembly meetings
