Aggie Transition Camps (ATC)

Howdy!
Aggie Transition Camps is looking to fill three (3) vacant Assistant Director positions for the 2026 Aggie Transition Camps program cycle. ATC Assistant Directors serve as the executive leadership for the organization and are the primary coordinators of our Extended Orientation program for incoming transfer students, Howdy Camp that occurs every January and T-Camp that occurs every August. Assistant Directors will work together to oversee all organization functions, and coordinate programmatic logistics for the year. They will be responsible for recruitment, selection, and training of All-Camp Staff including Co-Chairs, Counselors, Teamers, Campfire Speakers, and Namesakes. Additionally, they will perform specific tasks outlined in the position that they are selected for. Learn more about each Assistant Director role in the Application Question section. The roles we are looking to fill are:
- Director of Finance
- Director of Logistics & Operations
- Director of Risk Management
Important Dates:
Spring 2026:
- Assistant Director Selections - Immediately following Howdy Camp 2026 (Mid-late January)
- Director Retreat - Immediately following selections (tentative)
- Director Meetings (Weekly, Monday's at 5:30-6:30pm)
- T-Camp Chair Informational - TBD
- T-Camp Chair Selections - February
- T-Camp Chair Retreat - Immediately following selections (tentative)
- T-Camp Chair Meetings (Weekly, Monday's 6:30-7:30pm) - February-April
- T-Camp Counselor/Teamer Informational - Early March
- T-Camp Counselor/Teamer Selections - Early to Mid-March
- T-Camp, All-Camp Meetings (Weekly, tentatively Wednesday's; time TBD, locations will vary) - Late March-April
- T-Camp Work Weekends (Tentatively 3-4, dates TBD, locations will vary) - April-July
- T-Camp Staycations/Road Trips - May-July
- T-Camp 2026 (Prep Week, Skit Review, AC Refresher/Day 0, Camp, and Post-Ops)
- T-Camp 2026 will have 2 sessions, one tentatively in late July and one in mid-August, Directors will support both sessions
- T-Camp 2026 Continuity (All-Camp and Individual Camp) - Throughout the Fall 2026 semester
Spring 2026 Student Leader Caucuses (all hosted from 2:30-4:00pm, Koldus 144) - There will be a Director chosen by the Executive Director to be the designated back-up representative for ATC at these events. Please keep the following dates/times in mind:
- Thursday, February 19
- Thursday, March 19
- Thursday, April 16
