Elevate your feedback practices with this Student Learning Orientation hosted by the Committee on Student Learning in the Co-Curricular. In this session, participants will discover how intentional, well-structured feedback can become one of the strongest teaching tools. Participants will also learn from guest speakers who supervise and advise students across campus.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify structured models for delivering actionable, learning-centered feedback.
- Identify language tools for navigating difficult or high-stakes conversations.
- List strategies to shift feedback from reactive correction to intentional student development.
- Describe practical insights from experienced student supervisors and advisors.
DSA Committee on Student Learning in the Co-curricular
The Division of Student Affairs (DSA) Committee on Student Learning in the Co-Curricular (CSL) promotes the understanding, implementation, assessment, and improvement of transformative learning experiences to prepare students to become integrative and lifelong learners. In support of the DSA strategic plan and other Texas A&M priorities, CSL provides resources for staff who facilitate co-curricular learning experiences for students.
