Make no mistake: most Americans are skeptics of higher education and our ability to produce the talent our economy needs and returns the investment our students and families make sending their students to college. Over 50% of graduates need help securing meaningful work post-graduation, and only 11% of company executives believe universities produce talented students capable of getting the job done. But we have the Golden Ticket. During this keynote, Dr. Michael Preston will make a case for the power of student engagement and employment and why it should be the central argument in our ability to communicate the value of higher education.
