Chair of Wellness
The Chair of Wellness is dedicated to fostering a supportive, healthy, and balanced community by promoting mental, physical, and emotional well-being. This role involves organizing wellness programs, providing resources, and encouraging practices that support self-care and holistic health among residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote awareness and discussion around mental health, physical health, and emotional well-being within the community.
- Encourage positive habits and self-care practices among residents and council members.
- Organize and facilitate wellness-focused events such as stress-relief activities, mindfulness sessions, fitness challenges, and resource fairs.
- Provide access to campus or local wellness resources and support services.
- Collaborate with other council members to integrate wellness into broader community initiatives.
- Foster an environment where all residents feel supported in their well-being.
