
MSC Abbott Family Leadership Conference - Vice Chair
Since 1995, the MSC Abbott Family Leadership Conference has been a program within the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M University. Its mission is to develop and encourage the unique qualities of sophomore and junior student leaders in the areas of ethics, morals, and values in leadership, community service, and the importance of family.
The 2026 MSC Abbott Staff will comprise visionary, energetic, and hard-working leaders willing to dedicate substantial effort and enthusiasm to MSC Abbott. As a team, they will each accept the challenge and responsibility of maintaining MSC ALFC's high standards of excellence. They have the privilege of impacting the delegates and the Texas A&M campus with the committee's unique ideals.

Structure and Job Description: This committee is part of the MSC Programs Department and contributes to the department's mission through active participation and adherence to programming policies. The MSC Abbott Family Leadership Conference's committee staff comprises a Chair, Vice-Chairs, and Directors of Admin, Delegates, Development, Operations, Programs, and University Relations.
Expectations for the MSC AFLC Vice-Chair
- Lead the weekly committee meeting.
- Maintain consistent communication with Chair and Advisor as well as Directors.
- Attend weekly Chair, Vice Chair, and Advisor Meetings.
- Attend weekly Committee Meetings (Thursday evenings).
- Attend pre-conference events and conference.
- Willingness to cultivate a relationship with the Abbott Family.
