General Required Responsibilities:
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA or better throughout the school year
- Facilitate and foster a welcoming environment within the MSC CAMAC, at events and in the MSC Student Programs Office
- Wear your nametag and polo at meetings, Program Assemblies, and events, and when required
- Take advantage of various conferences and courses that help improve professional student development skills
- Represent MSC CAMAC professionally at all possible events, and actively recruit members for MSC CAMAC and/or programs
- Facilitate open communication with executive team for improved planning and team cooperation
- Brainstorm efficient and effective ways to develop or improve programs
- Attend ALL scheduled meetings (listed in the table on the next page)
- Encourage all members to actively participate, not only in their designated subcommittee, but with MSC CAMAC as a whole
- Attend semesterly retreats, end-of-year banquets, and monthly socials
- Efficiently keep track of executive deadlines and reinforce by-laws
- Be respectful in all interactions related to MSC CAMAC
- Practice open-mindedness and be receptive to feedback
- Monthly organization of locker and inventory supplies or as needed
- Attend at least one MSC designated Tailgate
Job Functions & Duties:
Vice Chair of Programs
- Assume all roles and responsibilities in the absence of the Chair
- Attend the Culture and Arts Program Assembly (C&A PA) if Chair is unable to on Monday nights at 6pm
- Make important decisions in collaboration with the Chair and Advisor for the improvement of MSC CAMAC
- Serve as an external affairs liaison, networking, establishing, and maintaining positive connections with other Texas A&M organizations
- Meet on a weekly basis with the MSC CAMAC Chair and Advisor to serve as the voice for directors
- Take minutes at each executive team meeting
- Coordinate one-on-ones with individual executive members as needed
- Conduct one-on-ones evaluations mid-semester with the executive team in collaboration with Chair
- Assist the Chair in the coordination, selection and training of executives during transitions
- Facilitate director socials at least once a semester
- Ensure stability, communication, organization and coherence between directors and Chair/Advisor and, above all, take initiative to voice concerns and/or comments affecting MSC CAMAC, its executives and/or its members
- Be available to proofread email drafts, social media posts, etc. for the executive team
- Other duties as assigned
Vice Chair of Conference:
- Assume all roles and responsibilities in the absence of the Vice-Chair of Programs.
- Attend Chairship meetings with Advisor, Chair, and VC of programs.
- Coordinate 2 Workdays with agendas every semester and assist with Leadership Retreat every
semester. - In the event of the combined absence of the Chair and Vice-Chair of Programs, this individual
assumes all responsibilities and roles in decision-making for the committee - Designate and assign SCOLA duties and tasks to Logistics and Speaker Executive directors
- Contact and organize a resource fair for SCOLA attendees
- In charge of keeping track of SCOLA registration before, during, and after the conference
- Mapping university spreadsheet updates & registration updates, all hands on deck, delegate task
as needed with Logistics - Continuous communication among potential registered attendees via emails, phone calls, and
messages for the SCOLA program - Communication with the MSC business office for registration link via flywire, get monthly, weekly,
and daily updates - Keep track of all SCOLA deadlines coming forth & enforce among executive
directors/subcommittees - Main point of contact during the SCOLA program aside from Chair & Advisor
