Listed below are each of the MSC FISH subcommittee's you may be apart of  - 

Service & Hosting: The Service & Hosting Subcommittee is responsible for creating and organizing all service and hosting events sponsored by MSC FISH. They organize and plan weekly service opportunities, weekend service, and larger-scale service projects each semester. The Service committee also sets up opportunities for FISH to volunteer with other organizations on campus such as Big Event and BUILD. The main service events planned and coordinated by the committee are: Weekly Service, Isaiah’s Place, Camp For All, Winter Service Retreat, and Staff Service Projects. AD’s in this committee will place a special priority in working within their committee to help create, and implement impactful leadership and personal development curriculum to create more productive and relevant GCM’s and 2 leadership training workshops throughout the year. In addition, the Service and Hosting subcommittee will be in charge of internal relations functions of FISH such as the planning and execution of the creation of All Group Bonding events (AGB’s), coordinating Fishentines, and managing Sock Game.
 

Outreach: The Outreach Subcommittee ensures that MSC FISH is properly able to develop freshmen into leaders outside of the campus of Texas A&M through the management of public image and the acquisition of funds. The work done by this committee will directly contribute to the growth and success of MSC FISH’s programs and its members. AD’s in this committee will have the opportunity to secure funding and donations for all of MSC FISH’s programs as well as host Profit Shares, Off-Campus Service Booths, and other events that seek to improve FISH’s alumni and community relations. Additionally, this committee will be responsible for designing PR for its members, managing FISH’s social media account, introducing new ways to incorporate programs that benefit the development of its members as well as the organization as a whole. Outreach will offer its members an opportunity to be a large contributing force behind all of the programs that make FISH great as well as help its AD’s and freshmen utilize critical thinking and idea implementation in generating financial support and creating a new system of outreach to our extensive alumni base and within the community we live in.
 

Development: The Development Subcommittee ensures that the funds of MSC are being used to benefit the freshmen in the best way possible, as well as develop the organization through the use of these funds. The programs put on by this committee will directly contribute to the growth and success of MSC FISH and its members. AD’s of this committee will have the opportunity to revamp programs that were put on the previous year as well as utilizing critical thinking skills to come up with new ideas and programs for the overall benefit of the organization. Also, this committee will be introducing new ways to incorporate programs that benefit the development of its members as well as the organization as a whole. One of the main programs put on by this committee is FLO Bowl, which allows each member of the committee to foster growth and development for their freshmen members through sending emails, organizing the event, and planning for the day of the event. Along with FLO Bowl, Development is responsible for putting on Run The Ramps, an annual 5k, which contributes to freshmen and staff development through critical creative thinking, planning the day-of, applying for donations, and marketing the event effectively. Overall, this committee will be creating new ways to incorporate the finances of MSC FISH to benefit the programs that are put on both inside and outside of our committee.
 

Kyle Field Day: The Kyle Field Day (KFD) Subcommittee has the opportunity to plan and produce a massive service fair held on Kyle Field in the spring that reaches thousands of college students. The planning process includes sending professional emails, seeking donations and sponsors, creating a marketing campaign, successfully maintaining a budget, and contacting potential volunteers and benefactors. The Kyle Field Day committee will focus on professionalism, delegation, and on using timelines to move towards a successful event. KFD will perform smaller service projects leading up to the day of, such as planning projects for the Share Your Service campaign. AD’s in the committee will be responsible for working with the rest of the KFD staff and outside organizations to plan and structure the growth of Kyle Field Day.
