MSC FISH Executive Director
Thank you for your interest in applying to become an Executive Director for MSC Freshmen in Service and Hosting (FISH) in 2025-2026. The following contains important information regarding the application and selection process, so please read carefully.
Please include the following in your completed application:
- Cover Letter: Provide a cover letter explaining why you want this position and how your previous accomplishments will contribute to your success(should be limited to one page).
- Resume: Provide a resume detailing the experiences that you feel have helped prepare you for an executive director position. Be sure to include all significant involvement, activities, leadership positions, and awards. Please include your overall GPR.
- Responses to Application Questions: Thoroughly answer the questions provided.
Application Deadline: Applications are due on getinvolved.tamu.edu by 11:59 P.M. on March 24th
Interviews: Interviews will be conducted in a SPO conference room the following week. After your application has been processed, you will receive an email regarding a potential interview. Interview attire is business casual.
Job Duties:
- Contribute to Executive Director Meetings (Times to be determined)
- Attend and plan weekly Sub-Committee Meetings
- Provide leadership and direction for MSC FISH
- Work to improve your committee as it pertains to the vision of MSC FISH
- Provide input on methods to improve the organization as a whole
- Manage duties specific to each sub-committee

- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge about the mission and goals of the MSC and MSC FISH
- Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to work in a team and delegate responsibility
- Desire to see MSC FISH improve and succeed in the future
- Possess devotion and passion for your sub-committee
