On January 22, 2026, the MSC Carter G. Woodson Black Awareness Committee will host our annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast to reflect upon the life, legacy, and accomplishments of Dr. King and relay the message of his dream to students, faculty, and administration. This event will incorporate a keynote speaker from Dr. King’s time period or an advocate for social activism. Tickets are $30 for Faculty/Staff /BCS Community and $20 for TAMUS students. Tickets will be for sale at the MSC Box Office located in Rudder as well as online.

Woodson Black Awareness Committee (MSC WBAC) enhances the understanding of the culture, contributions, and impact on society of people of African descent by providing educational and community-building programs and experiences for the Texas A&M University communities.
