Job Summary for VP of Culture (VPC)

The Vice President of Culture facilitates events for community-building and outreach and raises awareness on diversity topics through educational pieces. The Vice Presidents of Culture also completes any tasks delegated from the Executive Vice President of Diversity. This includes coordinating / being delegated topics for Diversity Program Assemblies (DPAs). This position is expected to represent the MSCC at various functions and events at Texas A&M as assigned.

Job Summary for VP of Logistics (VPL)

The Vice President of Logistics conducts membership management for the MSCC and aids MSC committees with Get Involved implementation. The Vice President of Logistics also completes any tasks delegated from the Executive Vice President of Diversity. This includes coordinating / being delegated topics for Diversity Program Assemblies (DPAs). This position is expected to represent the MSCC at various functions and events at Texas A&M as assigned. 

Job Summary for VP of Transitions (VPT)

The VP of Transitions oversees the transitions process of MSC Officer teams. Specific responsibilities include the coordination of MSC Annual Awards, organizational structure of committees, passbacks, bylaws/policy guides, and roster updates. VP of Transitions shall also collect recruitment timelines of all MSC Committees so that the MSCC can assist with marketing via the MSCC Instagram, with chief student leader stakeholders on campus, etc. The Vice President of Transitions also completes any tasks delegated from the Executive Vice President of Diversity. This includes coordinating / being delegated topics for Diversity Program Assemblies (DPAs). This position is expected to represent the MSCC at various functions and events at Texas A&M as assigned.

  • Delegated DPA topics by the EVPD regarding Diversity team business and trainings for Implicit Bias, and other evolving topics as identified.
MSC Meet-Up
  • Organize and lead a semesterly tabling event to raise awareness of the MSC Council, its committees, and resource teams, while recruiting new members
SPOcials
  • Organize and lead a semesterly social event in the Student Programs Office (SPO) to foster connections between committees and enhance community engagement across the organization
VPLDescription
Member Management
  • Works with all committees and the MSC Council on member management through Get Involved
    • Facilitates Officer Informational Meetings (November/January)
    • Learns all aspects of Get Involved for implementation and assistance to committees
    • Implements all aspects of the MSCC selection process
    • Updates membership rosters for the MSCC
DPAs
  • Delegated DPA topics by the EVPD regarding Diversity team business and trainings for Get Involved and the MSCC Selections Process

  • Organize and lead the MSC Annual Awards
Transition Process
  • Oversee the passback process across MSCC Officers, ensuring everyone has access to a passback template and that passback documents are being passed down
  • Collect recruitment timelines from Chairs
  • Collect the organizational structure charts of MSC committees from Chairs
  • Ensure MSC committees have proper bylaws/policy guides
DPAs
  • Delegated DPA topics by the EVPD regarding business under the VPT's jurisdiction
