The Chair of Campus Programming plans and leads RHA programs and events that enhance the on-campus experience and build community among residential students.
WHAT YOU'LL DO?
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee RHA-sponsored programs and events open to on-campus residents.
- Collaborate with campus departments, student organizations, and external partners to create engaging and high-impact programming.
- Gather student feedback and assess event outcomes to improve future programs.
- Support Community Councils by reviewing event ideas and making initial funding recommendations.
- Ensure programs align with RHA goals, values, and budget expectations.
- Collaborate closely with other Executive Board members to support large-scale and cross-functional events.
WHO CAN APPLY?
- Must be in good standing with Texas A&M University.
- Must live in on-campus housing for the duration of the executive term (August 2026 to April 2027).
- Must be able to allocate 5+ hours per week to RHA duties, including:
- RHA General Assemblies and Executive Board meetings held weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- A minimum of one monthly hour-long or two biweekly 30-minute one-on-one meetings with assigned leadership.
- One hour of in-person office hours or one monthly committee meeting.
