The Chair of Student Wellness promotes holistic well-being within on-campus communities by supporting accessible, and wellness-focused programs and initiatives across RHA and Community Councils.

WHAT YOU'LL DO?

• Promote holistic well-being using the seven dimensions of wellness.
• Work with RHA and Community Council leaders to ensure events and programs are accessible and inclusive.
• Develop and share wellness-related resources for on-campus residents and student leaders.
• Plan and support programs and initiatives focused on student wellness.
• Advocate for accessibility and well-being considerations in RHA-sponsored events.
• Collaborate with Executive Board members to integrate wellness into RHA initiatives.

WHO CAN APPLY?

• Must be in good standing with Texas A&M University.
• Must live in on-campus housing for the duration of the executive term (August 2026 to April 2027).
• Must be able to allocate 5+ hours per week to RHA duties, including:
  • RHA General Assemblies and Executive Board meetings held weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • A minimum of one monthly hour-long or two biweekly 30-minute one-on-one meetings with assigned leadership.
  • One hour of in-person office hours or one monthly committee meeting.
