The National Communications Coordinator represents Texas A&M at the regional and national level by managing communication, conference participation, and recognition efforts with SWACURH, NACURH, and NRHH partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO?

• Serve as the primary liaison between Texas A&M RHA and NACURH and SWACURH.
• Coordinate and lead delegations to regional and national conferences, including logistics, rosters, and communication.
• Attend required regional and national meetings, conferences, and remote sessions.
• Manage national and regional recognition efforts, including service pins, bids, and awards.
• Collaborate with RHA Advisors and Executive Board members to ensure compliance with University and affiliate policies.
• Maintain communication with national and regional affiliates and relay relevant updates to RHA leadership.
• Support partnerships with the National Residence Hall Honorary as outlined in governing agreements.

WHO CAN APPLY?

• Must be in good standing with Texas A&M University.
• Must live in on-campus housing for the duration of the executive term (August 2026 to April 2027).
• Must be able to allocate 5+ hours per week to RHA duties, including:
  • RHA General Assemblies and Executive Board meetings held weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • A minimum of one monthly hour-long or two biweekly 30-minute one-on-one meetings with assigned leadership.
  • One hour of in-person office hours or one monthly committee meeting.
