The National Communications Coordinator represents Texas A&M at the regional and national level by managing communication, conference participation, and recognition efforts with SWACURH, NACURH, and NRHH partners.
WHAT YOU'LL DO?
- Serve as the primary liaison between Texas A&M RHA and NACURH and SWACURH.
- Coordinate and lead delegations to regional and national conferences, including logistics, rosters, and communication.
- Attend required regional and national meetings, conferences, and remote sessions.
- Manage national and regional recognition efforts, including service pins, bids, and awards.
- Collaborate with RHA Advisors and Executive Board members to ensure compliance with University and affiliate policies.
- Maintain communication with national and regional affiliates and relay relevant updates to RHA leadership.
- Support partnerships with the National Residence Hall Honorary as outlined in governing agreements.
WHO CAN APPLY?
- Must be in good standing with Texas A&M University.
- Must live in on-campus housing for the duration of the executive term (August 2026 to April 2027).
- Must be able to allocate 5+ hours per week to RHA duties, including:
- RHA General Assemblies and Executive Board meetings held weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- A minimum of one monthly hour-long or two biweekly 30-minute one-on-one meetings with assigned leadership.
- One hour of in-person office hours or one monthly committee meeting.
