The Executive Vice President serves as the Treasurer of RHA and works closely with the President to manage the organization’s finances, support Executive Board operations, and ensure accountability across all RHA initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO?
- Develop and manage the annual RHA budget in collaboration with the President and RHA Advisors.
- Track and oversee all RHA financial accounts, expenditures, and balances.
- Provide regular budget updates to the Executive Board.
- Review and coordinate Hall Improvement requests with Residence Life Operations & Events.
- Support Executive Board goal-setting, progress tracking, and financial accountability.
- Meet regularly with Executive Board members to provide guidance and support.
- Collaborate closely with the President on organizational leadership and planning.
WHO CAN APPLY?
- Must be in good standing with Texas A&M University.
- Must live in on-campus housing for the duration of the executive term (August 2026 to April 2027).
- Must be able to allocate 5+ hours per week to RHA duties, including:
- RHA General Assemblies and Executive Board meetings held weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- A minimum of one monthly hour-long or two biweekly 30-minute one-on-one meetings with assigned leadership.
- One hour of in-person office hours or one monthly committee meeting.
