The Chair of Records is responsible for documenting RHA activities by managing meeting minutes, communications, and records to ensure transparency, continuity, and organization within the association.
WHAT YOU'LL DO?
- Take accurate notes and record minutes for Executive Board meetings, Executive Sessions, and General Assemblies.
- Publish and distribute meeting minutes in a timely manner.
- Create and prepare presentations for General Assembly meetings.
- Coordinate food planning, collection, and payments for General Assemblies.
- Manage and support the continuation of RHA communications such as newsletters or official updates.
- Maintain organized and accessible records for RHA reference and transition.
- Collaborate with Executive Board members to ensure accurate documentation of RHA actions and decisions.
WHO CAN APPLY?
- Must be in good standing with Texas A&M University.
- Must live in on-campus housing for the duration of the executive term (August 2026 to April 2027).
- Must be able to allocate 5+ hours per week to RHA duties, including:
- RHA General Assemblies and Executive Board meetings held weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- A minimum of one monthly hour-long or two biweekly 30-minute one-on-one meetings with assigned leadership.
- One hour of in-person office hours or one monthly committee meeting.
