The Chief of Staff supports the effective operation of the RHA Executive Board by managing organizational logistics, overseeing internal processes, and assisting the President in maintaining accountability and efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL DO?
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures for RHA-owned property and equipment.
- Coordinate scheduling, documentation, and accountability for RHA materials and resources.
- Support the President in tracking Executive Board goals, tasks, and follow-through.
- Maintain organization and professionalism within the RHA office space.
- Assist with internal procedures, including oversight of formal processes when necessary.
- Support Executive Board meetings by helping enforce expectations and operational standards.
- Collaborate closely with Executive Board members and uphold RHA expectations.
WHO CAN APPLY?
- Must be in good standing with Texas A&M University.
- Must live in on-campus housing for the duration of the executive term (August 2026 to April 2027).
- Must be able to allocate 5+ hours per week to RHA duties, including:
- RHA General Assemblies and Executive Board meetings held weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
- A minimum of one monthly hour-long or two biweekly 30-minute one-on-one meetings with assigned leadership.
- One hour of in-person office hours or one monthly committee meeting.
