General Student Member
Section I Eligibility
Any Texas A&M University student, faculty, staff, or alumnus is eligible to be an active member and holds office in the organization. Non-university affiliated persons (student, faculty, staff, or alumnus) may act as associate members, but may not vote or hold office.
Section II Selection Process
Membership will continue to be open throughout the academic school year. Some membership dues will be gathered at a certain point of the school year for T-shirts and preparation for other events.
Section III Member Responsibilities
Membership of the organization is based on the following requirements:
1. Attendance
a. Attendance must be taken at every engagement, including events, meetings, and rehearsals, by the secretary. If a member is not able to attend, it is the responsibility of the member to notify an Executive Board member at least three hours before the engagement.
b. Members are highly encouraged to attend the majority of all engagements accepted by the organization.
2. Behavior
a. Members are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and shall reflect a positive attitude.
b. We encourage members not to consume any food or drink that would prohibit their ability to perform or rehearse.
3. Dues
a. Dues shall be determined per academic year by the Executive Board. Members must submit all monies to the Treasurer by the last open rehearsal of each semester.
