Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for identifying, curating, and promoting volunteer opportunities for White Creek Apartments residents, connecting them with impactful service experiences at Texas A&M University and within the broader College Station community.

Key Responsibilities

• Opportunity Research & Development: Actively research and identify ongoing and one-time volunteer opportunities with Texas A&M University departments, student organizations, and local non-profit organizations in College Station.

• Resident Outreach & Engagement: Promote available volunteer opportunities to White Creek residents. Serve as a primary point of contact for residents interested in volunteering, answering questions and providing guidance.

• Information Dissemination & Communication: Create clear, concise, and engaging descriptions of volunteer opportunities, highlighting their impact and benefits.

• Tracking and Reporting: Maintain a record of resident participation in volunteer activities (e.g., who volunteered, where, and approximate hours, with resident consent). Gather feedback from residents about their volunteer experiences to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

• Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to promote volunteer opportunities effectively. Act as a liaison between residents and external organizations, facilitating communication when necessary.

• Recognition & Appreciation: Work with the Community Council to explore ways to acknowledge and celebrate residents' volunteer efforts (e.g., resident spotlights, thank-you notes, small appreciation events).
