Executive Vice President of Business
General summary of this position:
The Executive Vice President of Business shall coordinate the establishment of vision and recommendation of policies for administrative functions and committee development in the MSC and ensure the overall planning, coordination, and evaluation of all MSC administrative areas in conjunction with the Vice President of Business (as defined in section 4 of this article). The Executive Vice President of Business shall oversee the MSC Resource Directors, represent the administrative interests of the committees in the MSC Executive Team, and represent these interests within the MSC Stakeholders. This officer shall also maintain the MSC Constitution and MSC Policy Guide, and serve as the MSC's Parliamentarian. This officer shall also perform other duties as assigned by the MSC President.
- Overseeing the budgeting process, development efforts, MSC Annual Awards and Strategic in conjunction with the MSC HR Resource Team, and maintaining the MSC brand in conjunction with the MSC Marketing Team.
- Facilitate SAFAB presentations and processes in coordination with MSC Associate Director - Business
- Manage the Vice President of Business
- Manage the MSC Resource Directors
- Co-managing MSC Consulting projects as they arise.
- Maintain relationships with the MSC Officer Team, their advisors, and the staff of the Memorial Student Center
- Responsive to problems that arise in committees, specifically regarding administrative functions
- Represent the MSC at various functions and events at Texas A&M as directed by the President.
- Update MSC Constitution and By-laws as needed
Minimum Requirement: One year of MSC Leadership experience or equivalent.

Required MSC Officer Responsibilities:
- Represent the MSC – Student Programs Office: As a student leader in the MSC Student Programs Office, you are a reflection of the department and our MSC Values.
- Attend Weekly Monday Night Meetings (when warranted): When creating your academic schedule, please be mindful of your requirement to attend Committee Advancement Team meetings every Monday night at 6pm.
- Assist with MSC Committee Alignment to Memorial Student Center: Committee Chairs have the responsibility of directing their committee’s goals and year to meet the needs of the department.
- Complete the full Academic Year: MSC Officer positions are meant to be performed for the full academic year from Fall to Spring.
- Attend Leadership Launch: Every spring, the MSC hosts Leadership Launch in order to assist with the transition of new leaders.
- Represent your committee at Unity Dinner: Unity Dinner is a way to bring all outgoing and incoming officers to gain an understanding and awareness of diversity in leadership.
- Understand the Student-Staff Partnership: The MSC Student Programs Office operates under a unique 1:1 relationship between student and advisor.
