Why is it necessary to have a Traditions Night? The purpose of Traditions Night will be to officially welcome incoming student-athletes to Texas A&M University by providing them with a unique experience that captures the spirit of Aggieland. Student-athletes choose to attend TAMU for a variety of reasons and unlike the majority of the student population, many do not really know the true depth of the traditions that make Texas A&M University, Texas A&M.

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
