A&M McAllen Robotics Team

            Our mission is to cultivate an inclusive environment that prioritizes innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning within the two engineering disciplines at the Higher Education Center in McAllen. The A&M McAllen Robotics (AMR) aims to focus on the mission of creating a community of McAllen Engineering students who will learn to collaborate as a team to help each discipline grasp unfamiliar concepts in their respective fields. Our club will also develop and design robotic projects to foster teamwork and leadership, while highlighting the synergy between our engineering disciplines, ultimately raising awareness of the programs in McAllen. By highlighting our projects and achievements, we will not only enhance our members’ learning experiences but also effectively showcase the value of HECM’s engineering programs, ultimately attracting more interest and support.

            We are dedicated to promoting diversity in engineering, empowering all members to contribute their unique perspectives. Our club will also engage with local communities through outreach initiatives, inspiring the next generation of engineers. Additionally, we will provide opportunities for professional development, equipping our members with the skills and experiences necessary to excel in their careers post-graduation.
