The mission of the MD-PhD Student Council is to empower MD-PhD students by centralizing administrative responsibilities within the cohort, actively involving them in the program’s operations to enhance inclusion, leadership, and ownership.
The overall goal of the Student Council is to make the TAMU MD-PhD program more beneficial for MD-PhD students and address the unique constraints associated with the program, as well as develop a comprehensive understanding of being a physician scientist
-Maintain a strong alumni network to provide students with opportunities to see training as a physician-scientist
-Develop a more organized structure of the MD-PhD program

Positions

We accept: Professional Students, Graduate Students

Intake: Sign-up/Registration Ongoing intake (year-round)

Meet on- and off-campus every other month

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
