Aggies for Limbs
Aggies For Limbs, known as AFL, is a service organization at Texas A&M University that collaborates with Ashton's Angels, a local nonprofit dedicated to fundraising and providing prosthetics to community members who need financial assistance.
AFL is a co-ed organization open to students of all majors and classifications, giving members the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through five committees: Advertising, Service, Social, Fundraising, and Event Planning. Each semester, AFL hosts a signature fundraising event, along with a variety of service, social, and fundraising events exclusively for members.
To date, Aggies For Limbs has helped provide 13 prosthetics to 11 recipients. Through collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to service, AFL continues to find innovative ways to support and raise awareness for the limb-loss and limb-difference community while empowering Aggies to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
