Texas A&M Campus Community Emergency Response Team

Founded: 2018
Texas A&M University (College Station, TX)

The Aggie Campus Community Emergency Response Team (Aggie Campus CERT) educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their local area and trains them in disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, Aggie Campus CERT members can assist others on their campus or neighboring community following an incident when professional responders are not immediately available to help. We are sponsored by the Office of Safety and Security at Texas A&M for campus emergency response.
