College of Medicine Graduate Student Organization

The purpose of this organization in achieving the aforementioned mission shall be: To serve as the voice of the graduate student body of the School of Medicine. To prepare, coordinate and execute an annual HSC Graduate Student Research Symposium. To interact with faculty and representatives of the other branches of the HSC to optimize graduate student participation in the annual HSC Graduate Student Research Symposium. To ensure the maintenance of open lines of communication between graduate students, administration and faculty. To further the careers and intellectual development of the graduate student body.

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
