Texas A&M Iron Spikes

Founded: 2000
Texas A&M University (College Station, TX)

Texas A&M Iron Spikes is the premier social, spirit and service men's organization on campus. We have a unique brotherhood consisting of members from all walks of life and from across the country. We strive to develop our members into leaders who are strongly grounded in their community. We are actively involved with our philanthropy, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Brazos Valley, and our members are strongly encouraged to serve as mentors to underprivileged youth in the community through their Big Brothers program. Beyond that, we organize various community service events to support and raise awareness for the program, including our annual golf tournament.

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption. Please contact SOLAD for more information related to open-membership exemption at Texas A&M University or consult the Student Organization Manual.
