John Quincy Adams Society

Founded: 2020
Texas A&M University (College Station, TX)

The John Quincy Adams Society (JQAS) is a national network of student groups committed to
identifying, educating, and equipping the next generation of scholars and policy leaders to
encourage a new era of realism and restraint in American foreign policy. Our chapters aim to
help college students advance intellectually and professionally while promoting a broader
and more strategic conversation about America’s approach to international affairs. We’re
nonpartisan and nonpolitical: we work in the world of ideas, not on activism or elections, and
we seek to work with every corner of the political spectrum.
