Maroon Steel is a steelpan ensemble that enhances music appreciation and performance while encouraging collaboration, inclusion, and leadership. The group will also create an engaging cultural experience for Texas A&M University and the rest of the community by promoting a greater understanding of the history and culture of the African diaspora as it pertains to the Caribbean.

Maroon Steel meets Tuesday-Thursday from 5:30-7 pm. All rehearsals are in the Liberal Arts and Humanities building, room 129.

Students may also participate in the organization by taking a Small Ensembles course through the College of Performance, Visualization, and Fine Arts. For Fall 2025, students can register for MUSC 381, section 509 for 1 credit, or section 510 for 3 credits.
