Description
SCOLA represents the largest student-led conference based on Latinx Affairs in the Nation, but above all, the conference is an opportunity to come together to promote cultural awareness and representation. Rather than dwelling on the suppression of the past, SCOLA embraces our differences, upbringings, and stories of our community. We work towards promoting a safe space that allows students to develop themselves professionally and network with others. Overall, our multi-day conference is a life-changing experience meant to focus on the positives while reflecting on the stories of perseverance that shaped who we are today.
SCOLA is a professional development conference meant to connect students, especially those of Latinx heritage, with industry leaders who can understand their background and provide insight and networking opportunities to encourage a better future.
MSC CAMAC
Founded in 1974, MSC CAMAC is a student organization that focuses on uniting students from diverse backgrounds to establish an appreciation for various Hispanic and Latinx cultures on the Texas A&M campus and in the Bryan/College Station community. In addition, MSC CAMAC provides a forum where members can educate themselves and others about current issues affecting Latinx cultures and communities. We also offer opportunities for superior leadership growth and development within the organization and the Memorial Student Center.
