Executive
This is an Executive position within MSC Town Hall, with each Executive playing a critical leadership role in a specific area of the organization. Every Executive oversees a distinct function of the committee and is responsible for guiding their subcommittee’s/ DISCOs vision.
Executive responsibilities include attending bi-weekly General Committee Meetings (GCMs), leading bi-weekly subcommittee/DISCOs meetings, participating in weekly Executive meetings, and actively supporting and working MSC Town Hall events.
Role Descriptions:
AMP Executive (Advertising, Marketing, and Promotions)
Lead the strategic marketing vision for MSC Town Hall by developing, designing, and executing promotional campaigns for all events and merchandise. Oversees branding, digital content, photography, videography, and media strategy to maximize engagement and attendance.
Coffeehouse Executive
Directs the planning and execution of MSC Town Hall’s biweekly Coffeehouse concert series, managing artist selection, logistics, programming strategy, and member involvement to create a consistent and welcoming live music platform for student performers.
FUEL Executive (Fundraising, Unity, Engagement, and Legacy)
Directs fundraising strategy to financially support MSC Town Hall programming. Oversees sponsorship outreach, grant applications, newsletters, and more while cultivating long-term financial sustainability and organizational legacy.
LECS Executive (Large Events and Concert Series)
Oversees the booking, planning, and execution of MSC Town Hall’s large scale concerts. Leads artist outreach and negotiations, coordinate venue logistics, and manages production timelines to deliver exceptional, large-scale entertainment experiences.
Membership Executive
Oversees member engagement and recruitment efforts for MSC Town Hall. Leads DISCOs initiatives, coordinates recruitment processes, develops GCM agendas, and plans retreat, socials, and banquet to foster community and retention within the organization.
SPAM Executive (Special PA Members)
Manages technical production and sound operations for MSC Town Hall events. Oversees equipment logistics, coordinates setup and teardown, and ensures professional-level audio execution across programming.
SpEv Executive (Special Events)
Leads the development and execution of mid-scale programming, including festivals, comedy shows, and collaborative campus events. Manages event logistics, partnerships, budgeting, and team delegation to deliver creative and engaging experiences.
