Society for Conservation Biology, Texas A&M Chapter

Founded: 1994
Texas A&M University (College Station, TX)

We are a professional organization committed to connecting students to careers in conservation through professional speakers, volunteer opportunities, field trips, and our annual BioBlitz ecological survey/educational event. We are here to provide a forum for awareness and involvement in local and global conservation issues and promote the development of skills needed by professionals in the field of conservation biology.

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption. Please contact SOLAD for more information related to open-membership exemption at Texas A&M University or consult the Student Organization Manual.
