Sociology Graduate Student Organization

The Sociology Graduate Student Organization, a student-led organization,--hereafter referred to as SGSO--serves as the representative body of the graduate students in the Sociology department at Texas A&M University. The SGSO oversees sociology graduate student affairs. Our goals are to address the concerns of Sociology graduate students; provide resources for academic and professional development and enhance collaborative relationships and social interaction among Sociology graduate students and faculty. Principally, the SGSO represents the voice of the Sociology graduate students to the department and to the greater university community. At the center of each of these efforts, we intend to enhance cohesion among all members of the Texas A&M University Sociology department.
