To facilitate interactions among graduate students and faculty not only inside the Mathematics department but also across various Science and Engineering departments and institutes at Texas A&M.
To contribute to a rich social life in the TAMU graduate student community through cultural and scientific dialogue.
To promote publications, conferences, prizes, and other opportunities offered by SIAM.
To create a platform for students to learn about career opportunities and develop networks with faculty and fellow students.
