The Student Organization Leadership And Development (SOLAD) area not only oversees the recognition and risk management of student organizations and their activities, but they also provide valuable education, consultation, and partnerships that help organizations be successful.

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
