The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), originally founded in 1950, is a national non-profit educational and service organization. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women. The Society of Women Engineers at Texas A&M University is an organization dedicated to helping women achieve success in engineering academically, personally, and professionally.
