The VGSA seeks to unify and represent the interests of all Visualization graduate students to the faculty and administration of the Department of Visualization and to facilitate cohort networking and social opportunities.

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
