Women in Robotics, Engineering, and Development (WIRED) is a student-led effort to create opportunities for students to participate in hands-on projects and develop leadership skills. WIRED's objective is to engage students who share the goal of supporting the advancement of women in engineering majors, academic careers, and the workforce while providing opportunities to participate in engineering activities. All current undergraduate students in the College of Engineering with any level of experience are welcome to engage with WIRED and encourage the development and success of undergraduate women.

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
