VAW Global Health Alliances Medical Chapter

We are a non-governmental global health and development organization established for the purpose  of cultivating long term sustainable and equitable partnerships with local communities and professionals  through support and capacity building for essential and accessible health services. Our focus is to work  hand in hand with local initiatives and leaders to provide communities with improved access to medical,  dental, and veterinary treatment. We also work to provide medication, nutritional security, clean water, and  health education to these communities.

1. Cultivating long term sustainable and equitable partnerships with local communities and  professionals through support and capacity building for essential and accessible health services. 

2. Working hand in hand with local initiatives and leaders to provide communities with improved  access to medical, dental, and veterinary treatment. 

3. Striving to provide medication, nutritional security, clean water, and health education to partner  communities 

4. Providing students with international experience through offering outreach trips to partner with  communities in order to assist with various global health and infrastructure projects under direct  supervision of VAW Global Staff and Local Professionals 


 

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
