Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate Student Association

Our mission is to serve the interests and address concerns of the graduate students at the Texas A&M Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a focus on their professional development and quality of life. The purpose of this organization is to promote: 1. Representation - Provide graduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with the means to express their opinions and address issues which affect them directly, as well as broader policies which deal with the department as a whole. 2. Community - Work to build a community of scholars. Foster a climate in which all graduate students in the department feel a sense of community and belonging. Promote and enhance interaction among students, faculty, and staff. 3. Professional Development - Help to better prepare graduate students for their career after graduation, be it industry or academia. We will do all of the above in a way that works to enhance the reputation and prestige of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the local, national, and international levels.

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
