Description

Several passages in Scripture regulate and appear to endorse slavery. It is one of the most complex and often misunderstood discussions in religious and historical studies. How does the Bible address slavery? Was it condoned, regulated, or challenged within its historical context? What do these passages mean for modern readers wrestling with questions of justice, human dignity, and faith?


 


Whether a Christian or a skeptic, these meetings will promote good faith discussions. Navigating history, philosophy and science, these meetings showcase student research presentations, guest speakers, and sometimes coordinated organizational crossover events.
