Student Organization Funding Assistance Board

The Student Organization Funding Assistance Board serves to provide supplemental funding opportunities to recognized student organizations through the allocation of funds provided by The Association of Former Students. SOFAB will facilitate the process through application and committee review.  Click on the Forms link in the upper right to access the application.

 

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday Break, there will be no SOFAB application review on Friday, November 28, 2025.  Application submitted through the 28th will be reviewed on Friday, December 5.  The final review meeting for the Fall semester will take place on Friday, December 12.

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption. Please contact SOLAD for more information related to open-membership exemption at Texas A&M University or consult the Student Organization Manual.
