Student Organization Funding Assistance Board

The Student Organization Funding Assistance Board serves to provide supplemental funding opportunities to recognized student organizations through the allocation of funds provided by The Association of Former Students. SOFAB will facilitate the process through application and committee review.  Click on the Forms link in the upper right to access the application.

Spring 2026 Funding Application Review Meeting Dates (every other Friday at 1:00 P.M. via Zoom):

January 9, 2026; January 23, 2026; February 6; February 20; March 6; March 20; April 3; April 17; May 1; May 15; May 29.

 

 

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption. Please contact SOLAD for more information related to open-membership exemption at Texas A&M University or consult the Student Organization Manual.
