Student Organization Funding Assistance Board

Texas A&M University (College Station, TX)

The Student Organization Funding Assistance Board serves to provide supplemental funding opportunities to recognized student organizations through the allocation of funds provided by The Association of Former Students. SOFAB will facilitate the process through application and committee review.  Click on the Forms link in the upper right to access the application.

The application for funding for events and activities through August 2026 will close on July 24, 2026 at 5:00 P.M.  Any unused monies awarded during the 2025-2026 academic year, will be returned to SOFAB in the month of August.

The application for September 2026-August 2027 will open on August 15, 2026.

 

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption. Please contact SOLAD for more information related to open-membership exemption at Texas A&M University or consult the Student Organization Manual.
