Protein Project (APP), supported by the Good Food Institute (GFI), aims to advance alternative proteins — direct replacements for conventional meat, eggs, and dairy created through plant-based, cultivated, and fermentation technologies. Non-target proteins, such as insect-based-protein, fall outside of APP’s mission.
