The Texas A&M American Business Women’s Student Chapter operates under the umbrella of the National American Business Women’s Association (ABWA). Membership in this student chapter automatically includes national ABWA Association membership, which is covered by your dues.

Empowering Women Through Educational Scholarships

Today’s scholarship recipients are tomorrow’s leaders.  ABWA members give back by funding scholarships through the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund.  Since 1953, the educational fund has awarded more than 17 million dollars in scholarships.   Visit www.sbmef.org  for more information on scholarships for women.

Dues

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption. Please contact SOLAD for more information related to open-membership exemption at Texas A&M University or consult the Student Organization Manual.
