The mission of the ESO is to promote appreciation and career awareness of the public health field. Furthermore, it is the intention of the ESO to help promote lasting ties between its members. This is to be accomplished by working with faculty, administration, other student groups, and the community to provide ESO members with opportunities to learn more about the field of public health. These opportunities should include, but are not limited to, guest speakers, study groups, journal readings, social events, volunteer opportunities, and field trips.

Positions

We accept: Undergraduate Students, Professional Students, Graduate Students, Blinn Team Students, Part-Time Students, Distance/Remote Students

Intake: Open membership Ongoing intake (year-round)

Meet on-campus only every other week

All student organizations must be open in membership unless otherwise permitted under applicable state or federal law (20 U.S.C. § 1681(a)(6)(A); 34 C.F.R. § 106.14(a) for reference) through specific University exemption.
